ASH Wales is the leading charity working to reduce tobacco-related harm across Wales. As part of our mission to create healthier, safer communities, we run the No Ifs. No Butts. campaign helping the public understand and report the growing problem of illegal tobacco and vapes. These products are often unregulated, sold at pocket-money prices, and linked to organised crime, making them especially dangerous to children and communities.

We work closely with Trading Standards teams across Wales to gather and share intelligence, support enforcement operations like test purchases and seizures, and raise public awareness of the risks. Our work includes educating people on how to spot illegal products, encouraging community reporting, and helping ensure that action is taken swiftly and effectively when reports come in.
